Welcome to Small Business Communities, where we foster connections among small business owners in your local area.
These “get to know your neighbor” referral groups are conducted online, and are completely free of charge. You will be paired with other small business owners from your city or area that are in different industries. (If you own a salon, you are likely to have a real estate broker, a bakery, etc in your group with you.)
There is no selling or coaching in these groups. The purpose of these meetings is to get to know other business owners in your area. If you get to know them and hear about what types of work they are looking for, you may be able to send work their way in the future.
Sign up for your local group in two steps.
1. Most importantly, fill out this form that will allow us to match you to a group in your area. New groups are forming all the time. A group is “a go” once we have members from the same city in at least 7 industries. You can help get yours off the ground quickly by sending this site to other trade business owners that you know in your area.
2. Join our email list if you’d like to get complimentary access to our advanced business owner workshops. We have monthly “know your numbers” sessions where we guide you through your financial statements and provide insights into the significance of those figures for your business. Additionally, we invite guest speakers to talk about business areas that often get overlooked by busy entrepreneurs - retirement savings, insurance, how to build your business to sell, etc. Expand your knowledge, and strengthen your business.
